Well... Not that easy... gTile author is too busy and not responding to requests for a long time. Master branch of gTile on github is working with Gnome 3.24 extensions.gnome.org contains gTile that is up to 3.22. There is also a big jump in functionality on github master comparing to what is on extensions.gnome.org. Users are complaining about errors that were fixed a while ago, because extensions.gnome.org is well behind github master (like more than a year behind). Here I am trying to create new extension from my development branch, that is one commit ahead of master - it contains fix for Gnome 3.25. Which seems to be useless, as you are forcibly cutting version 3.25 from list of supported versions in metadata.json, leaving only up to 3.24 (why??? Ubuntu is 3.25 already). Well, at least if it would be possible to put master branch out, that will bring supported Gnome version to 3.24.

I commented on the github issue (https://github.com/vibou/vibou.gTile/issues/81). I want to get that resolved with the community. Let's discuss there how we can handle this. In general we don't allow forks but rather let upstream move to someone who can take care.
