Screen Time

by AI-Developer | 527 downloads

See how long you spend in each app, macOS Screen Time style. A panel indicator shows today's total at a glance, and the popup breaks it down per app with a bar chart. Step back through previous days one at a time. • Per-app daily time limits with a desktop notification when you cross one • Pause tracking from the popup, until you resume, for a set time, or until tomorrow • Idle detection: counting stops after you stop typing, unless something like a playing video is holding idle off • Configurable start of the day, so work past midnight stays on the day it started • History chart in preferences over 7, 30 or 90 days, with totals and your daily average • Configurable data retention, plus a one-click purge • Time spent on the lock screen, while the screen is blanked, or while suspended is never counted Everything is stored locally in a plain JSON file. No network access, no telemetry.
