Adjust the screen backlight in finer steps. GNOME moves the brightness by 5% every time you press a brightness key, which is a big jump on a dark screen. This extension makes each key press move the brightness by 1% instead, and the step size is configurable from the preferences window. Only the brightness keys are affected: the Quick Settings slider, the on-screen display and automatic/ambient brightness keep working exactly as before.
