A dachshund burrows across your screen as the Claude Code usage limit runs out. The share of the dog sticking out of the top-right corner is the share of the limit already spent; the rest of it is still visible at the bottom left. The panel indicator shows the same number in percent. Usage data is read from JSON files in ~/.local/state/taksa/, written by the statusline-taksa.sh hook from the project page. Until the first reading arrives the indicator shows a dash and no dog is drawn: unknown usage is not zero usage. The extension makes no network requests.
