Review of "Zorin Dash" version 1

Details Page Preview

A dock for the Gnome Shell in Zorin OS. This extension moves the dash out of the overview transforming it in a dock for an easier launching of applications and a faster switching between windows and desktops. Side and bottom placement options are available. NOTICE: I DID NOT MAKE THIS EXTENSION. ALL CREDIT GOES TO ZORIN OS AND ITS DEVELOPERS.

Is there any purpose in distributing these extensions? My understanding is that Zorin extensions are just rebranded forks of the originals. Is there new, original code in these?

No. There is no new code. There is no repository that allows people to have the Zorin desktop on Ubuntu, so since most of it is GNOME Extensions and Themes, I am making an installer that will install the themes and then will instruct to install the extensions on the website. This actually also opens up the opportunity for ANY LINUX DISTRO to run the Zorin desktop.

Sorry it has been awhile but I have little spare time and this will take a lot of time to go through, since each extension has to be reviewed as a new extension. Probably this will take a back seat to newer, original extensions.

Seems good, is there someone else that can test?

As far as I know, I'm the only active reviewer at the moment.

I see. I also see, speaking of 'seeing' that my extensions are being uploaded. Thank you!
