Review of "Switch output audio devices" version 2

Details Page Preview

Allow to change the output audio device from the volume indicator menu. This is a cut-down extension of the Extended Volume indicator without the applications submenu. It's useful to combine the usage with others extensions without having redundancies. It allows also to mute/unmute the audio card device; others extensions allows this just only for the applications audio streams.

This is a cut-down extension of the Extended Volume indicator (https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/142/output-device-chooser-on-volume-menu/) without the applications submenu. This is useful to combine the usage with others extensions without applications redundancies. It allows also to mute/unmute the audio sink (audio card device); others extensions allows this just only for single audio streams (applications).

Would it make sense to merge this in the original output-device-chooser-on-volume-menu? If any, it would ease maintenance for both you authors and us reviewers.

The audio streams handling was introduced in a recent review (https://extensions.gnome.org/review/763) of the original output-device-chooser-on-volume-menu extension, I strongly doubt the original author would revert the current behavior to the previous one, dropping the new feature. However I will make a try with tigersoldier.

Any luck?

Unfortunately tigersoldier doesn't reply to my request for merging or splitting his extension.
