The point of this extension being?
The point is that bindings that include Super are currently broken in gsd because the shell grabs Super. See the referenced bugs.
Referenced... where? But anyway, bugs are just that, and should be fixed where they belong (gnome-shell and gnome-settings-daemon), not hacked around with extensions.
Referenced in version 2 of the description. I agree that it should be fixed, but it has been there since 3.0 so I don't expect it will be fixed before 3.6 at the earliest!
