You can't leave Main.panel._oldChangeMenu set when your extension is disabled. Instead of saving in the panel, I'd recommend setting Main.panel.menuManager._changeMenu to a value in your extension like "this._oldChangeMenu = Main.panel.menuManager._changeMenu" and then "this._oldChangeMenu = null" when you disable.
