(I forgot to add, I just reviewed the original TaskBar, so the author is definitely alive)
I think the original TaskBar was from grynays then there was another one from Xes and now there is a 3rd one from zpydr. I think the one you just reviewed is now the new one but maybe it's all the same person? I'm doing many changes now so maybe I'll submit a new one later. Is there no way to contact someone directly other than by reporting a bug or leaving a comment on extensions.gnome.org? Thanks
Just submit a "bug". It will send an email directly to the author.
I have submitted a new version which is quite different and has more features (v5): grouping by running apps showing multiple previews rather than 1 icon for each running window. It shows the favorites to start apps as well.
