You forgot to change the control state. See my extension how I'm doing it: https://gitlab.gnome.org/jrahmatzadeh/just-perfection/-/blob/ebcc38eb9d1d2a49ccd7a47e52537d637ac6a42f/src/lib/API.js#L1758-1795 btw, this one still should have issue on Wayland: https://gitlab.gnome.org/jrahmatzadeh/just-perfection/-/issues/54

I do not understand this point. Maybe it's needed but 1) Florian Muellner reviewed this code after I wrote the original one 2) nobody has complained about some bugs except latest Ubuntu modifications in GS 40

I've just tried with Windows List extensions (I run always a Wayland session) and I did not notice any bug?

Well, if you change `hasOverview` to false, control states still thinks we are in overview. After login, If you use swipe up gesture, it will go to the app grid instead of overview. That's why I'm saying controls state needs to be changed too.

Not IRL because overview state is restored just after start process. Must be a very quick swipe, maybe.
