(ignoring the omg-ness of spawning a sync apt-cache, that will lock the whole shell everytime you press a key in the overview...) (ignoring the fact that instead of filtering yourself for special chars, you could use Util.spawn and pass an array) (ignoring that the subclass mechanism is completely wrong, as you're calling the constructor to create the prototype...) Seems fine!

thanks for review i have addressed the issues and made the extension work on any debian based distro (tested on mint only though so far) i will upload the new version shortly
