ja.is is an Icelandic online phone catalogue that provides contact information for most people and organizations in Iceland. This extension shows search results from ja.is in the gnome search overview. To view search results from ja.is, type the prefix "ja " followed by your search string. It should be noted that this extension is not connected to the organization Já Upplýsingaveitur hf in any way.

Note that this version, Version 1 contains syntax errors so please just review the whole code in version 2 instead of reviewing this one. I made probably my most common programming mistake here which is to submit a tiny untested code improvement, convinced that it wouldn't break anything :)
