You need to install envycontrol(https://github.com/geminis3/envycontrol) to make this extension work. This is a simple gnome-shell extension which provides a simple way to switch between GPU profiles on Nvidia Optimus systems (i.e laptops with Intel + Nvidia or AMD + Nvidia configurations) in a few clicks.

You may want to specify that this extension is intended for a specific hardware setup (Nvidia dedicated with integrated, using hybrid graphics - at least that is what it looks like to me).
Yes, you are correct! I have to put this specification in description in metadata.json right? I'm sorry, this is my first gnome extension :) I have also upload it on github and I would like to add this reference. Should I put the github link to "url" in metadata.json?
yes you've got it correct there! I'm going to reject this version for now and you can just upload a new version with your changes (be sure to iterate your version in metadata.json on each update). Other than that, it looks pretty good and I'll review that one as soon as you do so!
