What's the reason for using ".0" in shell versions?

From 40, you should use "40" instead of "40.0": https://gjs.guide/extensions/upgrading/gnome-shell-40.html#metadata-json We're also using that in the examples: https://gjs.guide/extensions/overview/anatomy.html#metadata-json-required
