1. Please remove if condition in line 55 (prefs.js). Your extension is only <=40. 2. You cannot create objects in global scope which is the same as init (line 60 prefs.js): https://gjs.guide/extensions/review-guidelines/review-guidelines.html#only-use-init-for-initialization
