I saw that in your last review? Is it required that it be gnome shell 45 compatible? I know almost nothing about gnome-shell extensions but it looks like this new import method is not backwards compatible? Is there a suggested way to maintain backwards compatibility?

There is no way to support 45 and older versions in one package. This website supports multi versioning. So you can send two packages with different `shell-version`s.
