What's the difference between your extension and other PluseAudio extensions?

Well I have not seen an extension that enables microphone loopback. In other words this extension allows you to listen to the microphone on the speakers.

I have an updated version where I remove the text message and add a pair of indicator icons instead. How do I go about adding a new version?

Just upload your newer version at https://extensions.gnome.org/upload/ and you have to keep the SAME UUID in metadata.json
