Why the index manipulation?
Not shure I understand the question : maybe the response is only “cause I don’t know the good way to find the previous and next child”. The goal was to prevent the case where an extension removes the calendar and its next separator, for exemple to move the calendar at the right of ‘calendarArea’, after other extensions like GTG’s¹. I didn’t test how my extension reacts if the planning is the only thing present in ‘calendarArea’ (it bugs, I think), but someone who wants to hide the ‘Main.panel._dateMenu.menu.box’ should not mask object by object. 1) https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/108/gtg-tasks-in-calendar-panel/
Sure, then.
