Turn the native GNOME dash into a dock. Settings: dock autohide, pressure, animation, opacity. There is no multi-monitor support at the moment. Very short code (less than 300 lines), very light extension: the dock object is the GNOME dash itself, so no new object is created.
Note: Binary files aren't shown on the web site. To see all files, please download the extension zipfile.

*I* thank you. I would love to use this dock AND my https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/6454/panel-free/ (since, as you know, I don't like the voidish top panel; for now I use this dock and Task Up Ultralite) BUT... ^_^ when I have a maximized window with focus, the dock blinks and visibly struggles to get the top focus. I really don't know why, do you have an idea?
Yeah, it is also happening with my extension + this one. Not sure what is the reason.
Ok that's what I was thinking: https://github.com/kazysmaster/gnome-shell-extension-disable-unredirect/blob/master/unredirect%40vaina.lt/extension.js solves the issue...
