Review of "Blue Light Filtering" version 1

Details Page Preview

A custom method for preventing eye burning aiming to not lose too much colors. It runs a glsl shader that filters the colors that are near blue with additional control sliders. Sliders * Strength parameter is the overall power of the filter. * Radius sets how much of the hues will be effected medianing the blue hue. * BlueCutter sets aggressiveness. It changes how aggressively are blues hue shifted. (visuals or eye protection slider, lessens blues but can't touch to pure blue pixels since that causes hue clipping) * LS Cutter, which dims the luminance and saturation down. (this one effects the pure blue pixels most, desaturates them and reduces brightness) Note : I developed this for people who wants to protect their eyes without losing too much colors. So you can always enable the plugin if you are not constantly working with colors. But i can't guarantee that this will protect your eyes or help with eye strain while it helps to me, i hope it helps to you too! Weaknesses * It doesn't work well on multi monitor setups, i couldn't find a way for this to work with multiple monitors. * Like other glsl shaders on gnome, shrinked windows loses anti aliasing.
