Review of "PanelIyagi" version 6

Details Page Preview

PanelIyagi is a custom panel / taskbar for Ubuntu GNOME. If you’re used to traditional taskbar panels, PanelIyagi offers a more integrated and productivity-focused experience. Instead of just showing running apps, it brings useful tools like Post-it notes, memo management, calculator, and an application menu into one unified panel — making daily desktop use faster and more comfortable. ⚠️ This extension does not work standalone. The PanelIyagi C++ binary must be running first. This extension only acts as the DBus bridge between GNOME Shell and the panel binary. 🔗 Download the binary and installation guide: https://github.com/iyagicom/PanelIyagi/releases 📌 Setup steps: 1. Download `PanelIyagi-v1.4.0-linux-x64.zip` from GitHub Releases. 2. Extract and run the installer (installs both the binary and the extension): unzip PanelIyagi-v1.4.0-linux-x64.zip bash install.sh 3. If you installed the extension via this page, you still need to install the binary separately using the steps above. 4. Right-click the panel → Settings → check "Launch at startup". After that, toggling this extension on/off is all you need. ✨ Features: - Live taskbar with open window list - Pinned apps and app launcher - System tray (XEMBED) — Telegram, Discord, etc. - Clock + Calendar / Notes + Sticky notes - Calculator - Quick settings (Volume · Wi-Fi · Bluetooth · Battery) - Korean / English IME input mode indicator - Screen recording / sharing indicator
