1. Why not using gettext instead of `locale.js`? It is native on GNOME Shell. 2. You cannot leave instance of objects in the global scope after disable (line 398 `locale.js`). 3. Use `console.*` instead of `log()`. Logs should be only available on debug mode. Why not renaming line 409 `extension.js` to `destroy()` and at the end of that function doing `super.destroy()`? That way you only need to call `destroy()` on the instance. Thanks for the review. Version 4 addresses all points: 1. Switched to native gettext (po/ + gettext-domain in metadata.json), locale.js removed. 2. No global objects remain after disable (the translator singleton is gone). 3. log() replaced with console.error() for user-action failures and console.debug() otherwise. 4. stop() renamed to destroy() ending with super.destroy(); disable() only calls destroy(). Also: - All subprocess calls are now async and cancellable, so the shell no longer blocks on the twingate CLI. - desktop-start/stop now only run after the pkexec service command succeeds, so dismissing the polkit prompt no longer leaves the desktop notifier out of sync. - Added GNOME Shell 51 support (St.BoxLayout:vertical replaced by orientation where available).
