Shows which app is using your microphone or camera, not just that something is. A Privacy tile stays in Quick Settings at all times, listing the responsible apps by name and icon whenever the microphone or camera is in use. Microphone streams can be muted individually; camera use is shown for information only. A short in-memory history keeps the last few accesses visible even when nothing is active. No second top-bar icon is added — the tile rides GNOME's own privacy indicator.
