A fast search bar for GNOME, inspired by macOS Spotlight. Press Super+Space and type: apps, files, sums, the meaning of a word, a Wikipedia topic or a web search, all without opening a browser. Select a result and press Space for a Quick Look card with the details; Esc closes it. Pressing Enter on a calculation copies the result to the clipboard. It also answers questions directly: “age of rihanna”, “capital of france”, “weather in paris”. Online lookups send what you type to wikipedia.org and wikidata.org (articles and facts), wiktionary.org and dictionaryapi.dev (definitions) and open-meteo.com (weather); wolframalpha.com only if you add your own AppID. Each can be turned off in the preferences.
