Signal should be disconnected on disable (line 273 extension.js): https://gjs.guide/extensions/review-guidelines/review-guidelines.html#disconnect-all-signals Since you are connecting signal to the stage, that signal will remain there after disable.
Also remove the key binding in line 1054.
