You cannot use `sudo` in extensions. Is this code generated by AI? If so, we have a rule for that: [EGO Review Guidelines: AI](https://gjs.guide/extensions/review-guidelines/review-guidelines.html#extensions-must-not-be-ai-generated) If you need any help with your extension you can ask us on: - [GNOME Extensions Matrix Channel](https://matrix.to/#/#extensions:gnome.org) - IRC Bridge: irc://irc.gimpnet.org/shell-extensions
Thanks for the review and for being clear. Both points are fair: the extension does shell out to sudo/pkexec because this modem (Fibocom L850 / Intel XMM7360) has no ModemManager support, so there's no system service to talk to — and yes, it was built with substantial AI assistance, so it falls under your no-AI-generated rule. I won't dispute either. I'll distribute it from GitHub instead. Thanks for your time.
You can still fix and send it again if you understand what the code does and can maintain it. If you need any help with your extension you can ask us on: - [GNOME Extensions Matrix Channel](https://matrix.to/#/#extensions:gnome.org) - IRC Bridge: irc://irc.gimpnet.org/shell-extensions
