Shutdown/reboot/suspend the device after a specific time or wake with a rtc alarm. The screen-saver will not interrupt the timer. A privileged control script may be installed to control shutdown and rtcwake as user.

Hi, I discovered that for pkaction version >= 0.106 a polkit rules doe not need a polkit action (thus no /usr/share/polkit-1/actions install necessary) https://askubuntu.com/questions/536591/policykit-rules-never-come-into-effect If the new pkaction version is available the install.sh script now installs to "/etc/polkit-1/rules.d" instead of "/usr/share/polkit-1/rules.d".
