It looks like the prefs.js file was removed accidentally? Rejecting because there is now a non-functional "Settings" item. On a side note, the standard Temporal.PlainDate (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Temporal/PlainDate/year) has support for the Hebrew calendar. I don't know if it's suitable for the purpose, or whether support in mozjs/gjs dates back all the way to GNOME 45, but may it is interesting to you.
