A helper letting you control your display brightness. Can be set to persist across reboots. Supports hover scrolling and custom keybindings for changing brightness. The original author is lmedinas. Why do you create a DBus proxy and then use the gdbus command line tool? Bah... Approved anyway.
Hi i want to use the dbus proxy to set brightness but i didn't find the right way to do it. shouldn't "this._proxy.SetBrightness(i)" work ? I couldn't get it work like i do have it using python. Any hints ?
this._proxy.SetBrightnessRemote() is what you want.
Now it contains the proper fix to use the DBus proxy instead of the horrible gdbus cmdline. Added a nice icon instead of the label
