You may have some luck with changing the version in 'metadata.json' to your gnome-shell version. Undecorate maximized windows, like Ubuntu's old 'Maximus' package. See readme at extension homepage.

Hi - I just realised I forgot one line in this version: between lines 222 and 223 there should be a win._maximusDecoratedOriginal = win.decorated !== false || false; (It's in the enable() function, I just forgot to add it in onWindowAdded() too). Can I just re-upload the extension to replace this, or do I have to increase the extension version in the metadata.json too? (It seems a waste of a version number). cheers!
