Just a question, why don't you do it with css only approach? In that case you only need to get gsettings value for the size. I'm doing it in my own extension too. if you want a sample: https://gitlab.gnome.org/jrahmatzadeh/just-perfection/-/blob/e996fcaf3b0ef69f57c90621d340bb0bbcaa84d3/src/stylesheet.css#L486-546 You can apply the css class name to panel. Also remove unnecessary `Mainloop` import (line 26 extension.js).
