Desktop widgets for GNOME Shell in a grid layout: clock, binary clock, calendar, weather, photos, battery rings for your device, and an MPRIS music player. In edit mode you can add, move, resize, and remove widgets directly on your desktop, then style them with custom colors, borders, radius, shadow, and opacity. A fork of Widgets (https://github.com/TheRealSourcer/widgets).

What's the reason for making a fork of original. Why not sending merge request to the original?
I took the original extension as a base and made substantial architectural changes, adding new widgets and rewriting parts of the code to suit a different workflow. Because the project has evolved into a significantly different codebase with new functionality, I decided to publish it as a separate extension rather than a merge request.
Please wait, the review queue is really busy these days and you sent a large package here. If you need any help with your extension you can ask us on: - [GNOME Extensions Matrix Channel](https://matrix.to/#/#extensions:gnome.org) - IRC Bridge: irc://irc.gimpnet.org/shell-extensions
Thanks for the information. I'll be waiting.
