Please remove `convenience.js` and use ExtensionUtils.getSettings() instead: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/blob/main/js/misc/extensionUtils.js btw, your extension is supporting 40 and 41 while you are doing some extra stuff in extension.js for GNOME 3.x. you can remove those comments if they are also required for 40 and higher, remove those lines otherwise.
