Review of "Hide Top Bar" version 1

Details Page Preview

Hides the top bar, except in overview. However, there is an option to show the panel whenever the mouse pointer approaches the edge of the screen. And if "intellihide" is enabled, the panel only hides when a window takes the space. - Press backspace to remove keyboard shortcut. - Log off and on again when there is an error after upgrading.

Uhm... did you try contacting the original author before forking?

Yes, I wrote to fpmurphy, he was OK with it. This fork works in a slightly different way: autohidetopbar displays itself if we place the mouse on the top of the screen. I wanted it to be always hidden, except in overview mode, because I find the top bar too distracting and I kept enabling it by mistake when trying to click the location bar in Firefox.
