Review of "Retro LCD 7-Segment Clock" version 84

Details Page Preview

Vintage digital display with a high-fidelity 7-segment look. 10 color themes, custom colors, ghost segments, CRT scanlines, desktop widget mode, a quick color-switch menu, a date tooltip on hover, and integrated alarms with an on-screen dialog so they're never missed. Draws its digits from SVG path data embedded in the extension's code (no system font installation needed) and plays alarms through GNOME Shell's native sound theme; no bundled audio, font or image files.

New v84... Quick fix for GNOME Shell 50. Nothing else changed. Version 83 added a small date tooltip. I added its label with Main.layoutManager.addChrome(label, { affectsInputRegion: false }), but GNOME Shell 50 dropped that option, so the call threw "Unrecognized parameter AffectsInputRegion" and the extension failed to load on 50. Shell 48 and older still accept it, so they were fine. The label is not reactive, so it doesn't need to be tracked as chrome. It is now added with Main.uiGroup.add_child() and removed with Main.uiGroup.remove_child() before it is destroyed. The same code works on 45 to 50, with no version checks. Changes: - src/ui/dateTooltip.js: uiGroup instead of addChrome/removeChrome. - metadata.json: version 84. The desktop widget still uses addChrome()/removeChrome() with no parameters, which is fine on 45 to 50. Huge thanks to the review team for your time and dedication! I know testing and approving extensions takes a lot of effort, so I really appreciate all your help in making this ready for the new release.
