This version (v35) adds optional functionality to display the current date on the LCD, optimizing CSS properties (line-height and alignment) to ensure the layout remains faithful to the 7-segment aesthetic. Compatibility with GNOME 45-48 has been verified, and the use of connectObject is maintained for efficient signal and GSettings management. This update replaces v34 (currently pending review) and includes improvements to the preferences organization.
