Review of "Retro LCD 7-Segment Clock" version 86

Details Page Preview

Vintage digital display with a high-fidelity 7-segment look. 10 color themes, custom colors, ghost segments, CRT scanlines, desktop widget mode, a quick color-switch menu, a date tooltip on hover, and integrated alarms with an on-screen dialog so they're never missed. Draws its digits from SVG path data embedded in the extension's code (no system font installation needed) and plays alarms through GNOME Shell's native sound theme; no bundled audio, font or image files.

Hi! Here is what changed in v86. GNOME 45 fix: the update notice and the alarm notification (when the dialog is off) were broken on 45, because the notification API is different there. I added a tiny helper that picks the right call by Shell version. I checked the 45 and 46 sources of messageTray.js. Missed alarms: the extension doesn't use unlock-dialog, so GNOME turns it off on the lock screen and an alarm due during the lock was lost. Now disable() keeps one timestamp and the due times of waiting snoozes in the Extension object, and enable() uses them to show a "Missed alarm" notification (only for the last 30 minutes). It is plain numbers only: no GObjects, signals or timers survive disable(). Bug fix: two one-time alarms due at the same moment, the second one stayed enabled. Fixed. New "Condensed Mode" switch (narrower clock), less space for the alarm bell, and no leading zero in 12-hour mode. Small fixes: Reset to Defaults no longer resets the snooze and dialog settings, and the Retro LCD shadow now blinks with the digits. License: the alarm bell is now a new path I drew myself (MIT). The digits are still derived from DSEG7 and DSEG-LICENSE.txt is still in the package. Tested on a Fedora VM: locking and unlocking, snooze and Condensed Mode all work. The code also passes eslint and a strict schema compile. Thanks for the review!
